In support of Crossroads’ founding commitment to the greater community, the School offers many public events including art exhibits, a lecture series and athletic competitions, as well as special community programs.

Aquatics Programs
The Crossroads Pool is home to a variety of programming for students, including swim instruction, conditioning and competitions. The facility also hosts private swim lessons (April through October) and our year-round Wave Runners development programs, both of which are open to the public.
The Sam Francis Gallery, located in the Peter Boxenbaum Arts Education Centre at Crossroads, is dedicated to displaying student art and presenting cutting-edge exhibitions of work by locally and nationally renowned artists. Public receptions are held in the gallery throughout the school year.
Crossroads has over 50 sports teams, including basketball, volleyball, tennis and swimming. We invite members of the community to come cheer on the Crossroads Roadrunners at home and away competitions.
The Equity & Justice Distinguished Lecture Series—a feature of Crossroads School’s Equity & Justice Institute—is free and open to the public. The series brings noted scholars and activists to campus to help stimulate dialogue among students, educators and community leaders committed to tackling the problems of racism, poverty, war, environmental degradation, educational inequities, religious persecution, genocide and other forms of injustice.
Summer at Crossroads offers a variety of courses as unique as Crossroads’ school-year programming. Summer at Crossroads is open to the public, and there is no formal admission process. Limited, need-based financial assistance is available by application.
