About

Strategic Plan

Deepen, Evolve, Thrive

Crossroads School has evolved significantly since our founding as a middle school in 1971, growing into the vibrant, nationally recognized K-12 institution we are today. Yet we have always stood fast to our founding principles. The Crossroads of today remains deeply committed to a progressive educational practice that prioritizes a relationship-based, experiential learning environment.

Our new strategic plan reaffirms this commitment and establishes goals to ensure our continued growth and success over the next five to seven years. It was developed in partnership with the research and planning firm Leadership + Design; the Board of Trustees and reflects the feedback and insights of constituents from across our community.

Below, you’ll learn about our goals to sustain a joyful and connected community; to deliver excellence in progressive education; and to cultivate students’ leadership capacity to flourish in a constantly changing world. You can also click here to find the School’s first-ever vision and mission statements, created in tandem with the strategic plan to crystalize the promise of Crossroads School.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful to have you with us on this journey.
